As someone with physical handicaps, I really appreciated the helpful staff and the accessibility features at Glacier Bay Lodge. The lodge had facilities that made it easy for me to navigate and enjoy my stay.
I felt very relaxed during my stay at Glacier Bay Lodge, and there was nothing to complain about.

The lodge had a charming, old hunting lodge feel with a beautiful fireplace and an inviting dining room overlooking the stunning Bartlett Cove. The restaurant served an excellent menu with delicious fresh seafood and mouthwatering ribeye. It was a culinary treat for my taste buds! The lodge also provided convenient access to the National Park hiking trails, tour boat, and various water activities. I enjoyed exploring the breathtaking scenery and immersing myself in nature. The staff was helpful and accommodating, ensuring I had everything I needed for a memorable stay. The lodge's off-the-grid experience was refreshing, disconnecting me from the outside world and allowing me to truly appreciate the natural beauty surrounding me. I highly recommend this lodge for a unique and unforgettable stay in Alaska's Last Frontier.

The lodge is perfectly situated in a picturesque location, nestled in the forest and just a short distance from the dock area, making it convenient for boat tours. The ranger station being right in the lodge is an added bonus, providing easy access to information and activities. Additionally, the restaurant offers excellent service with a knowledgeable waiter. The rooms are spacious, clean, and come with amenities like a coffee maker and provided toiletries. The lodge also offers a convenient airport shuttle service.
There is only one dining option available, which can be on the pricier side.

The location of the hotel was absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful nature and with little boardwalks leading to the rooms. It truly felt like a peaceful getaway. Additionally, the restaurant at the hotel was great, with everyone in our group thoroughly enjoying their meals. The food was delicious and satisfying.
There were a few drawbacks to our stay. there was no WiFi or TV available in the rooms, so it's important to bring a book or any entertainment you might need.

The location is unbeatable, right by the National Park with stunning views. The lodge is well-maintained despite its age and the staff were friendly and interesting. The pier is conveniently close to the rooms for the ranger-led boat tour. The meals were delicious, and the design of the lodge perfectly complements the surrounding beauty. Don't change a thing!
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

I had the pleasure of adjusting my warmth to my needs while enjoying the Northern Oceans' rare gulls and the drop off and pick up service for kayaking trips. A relaxing getaway!
The boat tour could have been even better if the National Park Ranger had answered all my questions in a 15-minute monologue.
